Gamejam Devlog - Wrap up


Yeah that's a wrap huh

Well, not only I managed to do ALL that was left on my last devlog, but the game ended up being functional from start to finish, I genuinely wasn't expecting that because I didn't even get to test it at all, one heck of a miracle.

But also, while I was preparing the video playthrough, I did notice a lot of oversights I fixed in a new version uploaded today, I was going to keep the original Jam version, but itch automatically replaced it when I uploaded the new file, wow.

...Eh, whatever

All's well that ends well, I actually managed to finish a game, and I improved a LOT while making it, finally ditching my old, flawed cutscene framework for a better one
...Still kind of flawed but it *is* much better
Gotta thank the Run & Jump Jam for this

Perhaps I'll come back to this again and improve it even more, there's a lot of stuff that was scrapped, the Virtual Pet part of the game especially suffered from crunch time, something that I feel will be obvious while playing.

Soo that's all, really, see you next year for the next Game Jam
