Gamejam Devlog - Day 4


August 5th 2025.

...So, the fourth level was finished too, map AND walls too this time

Not only that, but the overworld map's fully finished too, that is if I don't get the opportunity to add any extras

This time I've actually managed to get a bit ahead, huh?

...But I guess the fact the next cutscene I'll have to make will be extra hard balances it out.

Looks like I'll end up scrapping the penultimate chapter after all, what a shame.

Regardless, let me keep the usual routine where I upload a screenshot of the latest addition

What a happy breaktime, too bad I can't afford to have those right now, I've gotta speedrun this if I wanna make it, get a new any% PB while I'm at it

Soo what's left?

That hard cutscene I mentioned earlier, the fifth level if I have enough time to implement it instead of scrapping it, the final level.
And then, the enemies, the bosses, the game over, the overworld extras, music & sound effects, and finally polishing this up before releasing it

...If tomorrow I somehow manage to finish it up to the final level, I might have a good chance at actually making it
...But all I can do is see what the near future holds.
