Gamejam Devlog - Day 8


...Hm.

Well, thought I could take it easy considering the jam was extended, and that there'd be no need to rush 
...But maybe I took it *too* easy
There's still a lot to do before this game can be pretty decent, the most important thing being enemy variety

Sure I played through the whole game and confirmed that it was beatable from start to finish, but there are literally just three single enemies across all of the levels, at least Unigenesis had the decency to give each level a unique one
So yeah, better get creative tomorrow

...Anyway that's not all, I've been composing the game's music too, about time I should say
...But maybe I can see why it took me so long
I don't think I'm enjoying composing music for this game too much, maybe I'm just not in the mood, maybe I'm losing my touch, maybe it's something else, but I'm not gonna be surprised if this game ends up being the one with the worst soundtrack*

* (Excluding All the older games I've made when I didn't know what I was doing)

Whatever, I'll go easy on the soundtrack this time, last year I made a game with 14 tracks, that would have been 2 tracks per day, I don't think I could do that again, especially when there are only 2 days left for this jam
